VFFOTO magnetic 77 mm White Mist 1/1 filter NANO-PRO

The new VFFOTO system uses a thin adapter screwed onto the end of the lens and a special photographic filter in a magnetic frame that attaches to the adapter by simply snapping it on.
As an alternative to screw-in photo filters, magnetic filters are quick and easy to change. Simply hold the filter close to the adapter at the end of the lens and it holds firm immediately. It comes off just as easily. The solution for anyone who has a problem with the perpetual screwing when changing filters.
This magnetic system is not compatible with "classic" screw-on VFFOTO filters.

What makes VFFOTO magnetic filters so unique? Simplicity. Instead of two adapters in similar systems (one at the end of the lens, the other on a regular photographic filter), the VFFOTO's counterpart to the adapter is the photographic filter. Or even several, because they can be layered on top of each other and have several filters applied at the same time (for example, polarizing together with ND). With the attached magnetic filters, it is possible to use the original lens hood supplied by the lens manufacturer without any problems.
The new magnetic filters cannot be combined with the existing screw-on filters, it is a different system. We will be producing both versions of the filters in parallel and our customers will always be able to choose whether they prefer screw-on or magnetic filters.

VFFOTO White Mist NANO-PRO is a fine diffusion effect filter made of clear glass with micro-texture. It creates a subtle overexposure around the highlights of the image and slightly reduces contrast. The effect can be similar to soft dreamy images from vintage cinema portrait lenses.
Different versions of the VFFOTO White Mist filter vary in diffusion level, from the weakest D 1/8 and D 1/4 (mainly used for portraiture) to the more diffuse D 1/1 (especially suitable for night sky with stars).

Use for night sky and landscape photography with stars.
The effect of the VFFOTO White Mist filter is to slightly blur the bright points of the stars, increase their diameter and make them more visible in the photograph. The shades of the night sky, the colouring of nebulae etc. will also become more prominent.
On the other hand, the filter will make the faintest and least visible stars completely invisible.

The VFFOTO White Mist NANO-PRO series Effect filters are developed, designed and assembled in the Czech Republic. The components are manufactured in China.
They have 16 anti-reflective layers (8 on each side), and also new 3+3 nano layers with the most advanced features: increased scratch, water and grease resistance and easier cleaning.
All effect filters in this series are made by using Schott B270 premium microtextured optical glass.
The filters in this series are primarily designed for digital cameras, but can also be used on conventional SLR cameras.
Due to possible vignetting, for focal lengths of 15-24 mm (on fullframe), we recommend to have a larger diameter filter mounted over the magnetic step-up ring according to the instructions below.
