The VFFOTO magnetic ND 8× filter is designed primarily to extend the range of compatible VFFOTO VND filters. It adds another 3 EV, expanding the nominal range from VND 2–32× to ND 16–256×. With a magnetic adapter of the same diameter, it can also be used as a standalone ND 8× filter.

When the two filters are combined, their nominal light-reduction factors are multiplied: the ND 8× and VND 2–32× together create a nominal range of ND 16–256×.

A VFFOTO hybrid VND filter fitted with the extension ND 8× is not compatible with the original lens cap. To cover the filter stack safely, use the compatible VFFOTO 95 mm magnetic protective cap with grip.

Neither VND nor ND 8× filters are solar filters.

Neither VND nor ND 8× photographic filters are intended or certified for safe observation or photography of the Sun, and they do not provide the required suppression of UV and IR radiation. A VND filter is not suitable for photographing a solar eclipse.

VFFOTO NanoShield: Neviditelná ochrana pro dokonale čistý záběr.

Technologie VFFOTO NanoShield představuje pokročilou high-tech úpravu foto filtrů pomocí ultra tenkých nano vrstev, které výrazně omezují ulpívání vody, mastnoty i běžných nečistot. Technologie VFFOTO GlareShield Pro 16 představuje pokročilý systém 16 špičkových antireflexních vrstev — 8 z každé strany filtru — navržený pro maximální eliminaci nežádoucích odlesků a ztráty kontrastu při fotografování. Každá antireflexní vrstva je aplikována na optické sklo ve vakuových komorách pomocí vysoce přesné depoziční technologie magnetronového naprašování. Díky této metodě vznikají dokonale rovnoměrné nano vrstvy o tloušťce pouhých několika nanometrů, optimalizované pro potlačení odrazů v různých částech viditelného spektra.
