VFFOTO MAGNETIC 86 MM 3.9 ND FILTER GS – simple, fast, no screwing!
VFFOTO recommendation:
The VFFOTO GS range of magnetic ND filters is for those who want the highest quality without compromise and, at the same time, fast and easy filter handling.
The ND (neutral density) filter is used to extend the exposure time. The long exposure allows you to capture events invisible to the human eye - motion blurred water and clouds in the sky or the tracks of passing vehicles and crowds of people. Very long exposures "erase" the people walking around in crowded tourist sights.
Magnetic filters are quick and easy to change. Just hold the filter close to the adapter at the end of the lens and it holds firmly immediately. The solution is perfect for everyone who have a problem with perpetual screwing when changing filters.

The new VFFOTO magnetic system uses a thin adapter, screwed on the end of the lens, and special photo filter in a magnetic frame, which is mounted to the adapter by simply attaching it.
Magnetic filters as an alternative to screw-on photo filters are easy and quick to replace. Just bring the filter close to the adapter at the end of the lens and it holds firmly immediately. You can take it off just as easily. The solution is perfect for everyone who has problem with perpetual screwing when changing filters. This magnetic system is not compatible with "classic" screw-on VFFOTO filters.
What makes VFFOTO magnetic filters so unique? Simplicity. Instead of two adapters in similar systems (one at the end of the lens, the other on a regular photographic filter), the VFFOTO's counterpart to the adapter is the photographic filter. Or even several, because they can be layered on top of each other and have several filters applied at the same time (for example, polarizing together with ND). With the attached magnetic filters, it is possible to use the original lens hood supplied by the lens manufacturer without any problems.
The new magnetic filters cannot be combined with the existing screw-on filters, it is a different system. We will be producing both versions of the filters in parallel and our customers will always be able to choose whether they prefer screw-on or magnetic filters.
The ND (neutral density) filter reduces light of all wavelengths (colors). By using an ND filter, the photographer can extend the exposure time and change the aperture according to his priorities and thus have more control over the length of exposure even in extreme conditions (sea, mountains, snow).
Please note, cheaper ND filters do not reduce the light intensity of all wavelengths evenly, which can cause color defects in the image.
VFFOTO ND filters GOLDEN SERIES are are developed, designed and assembled in the Czech Republic. The components are manufactured in China.
They have 14 anti-reflective layers (7 on each side), and also new 3+3 nano layers with the most advanced features: increased scratch, water and grease resistance and easier cleaning.
The ND filters in this series are primarily designed for digital cameras, but can also be used on conventional film SLRs.
This filter can also be used on ultra-wide lenses (including zooms) with focal lengths of 15 mm and above (FF), 77 mm and smaller, see the following "Help sheet”.
