Reduction ring - UV GS step-up adapter for magnetic system VFFOTO 49-62 mm - easy, fast, without screwing!
VFFOTO recommendations: The range of magnetic reduction UV GS step-up adapters is for those, who want the benefits of easy and fast filter handling, the possibility to use a larger filter on a smaller lens, reliable protection of the lens front against dirt, water or mechanical damage and the highest optical quality without compromise.
Magnetic reduction ring - UV GS step-up adapter of the VFFOTO magnetic system combines three functions:
*Reduction for a larger filter on a smaller lens (which allows the use of a filter on a super wide-angle lens without the risk of vignetting);
*Protection - the built-in glass of the VFFOTO Golden Series UV filter means excellent optical properties, high transparency, effective protection of the front part of the lens and easy cleaning;
* Adapter for other VFFOTO magnetic filters
The UV GS step-up adapter remains permanently screwed on the lens as protection and at the same time as an adapter for all other types of VFFOTO magnetic filters (CPL, ND, Night Sky…).

Reduction ring 3 in 1 - UV GS step-up adapter ring for the VFFOTO magnetic system is made of anodized aluminium and steel. It has high-quality Schott optical glass.
The adapter is equipped with a snap ring with a stop function for the correct position of the VFFOTO lens hood. As a result, the lens hood cannot slide down the step-up ring towards the camera body.
It offers the customers the following three benefits:
1) works as a step-up ring 49-62 mm (only for VFFOTO magnetic system)
2) serves as an adapter for VFFOTO magnetic filters
3) protects the front element of your lens (GS UV filter function)
When using this reduction ring, it is usually not possible to use the original lens hood (the diameter of the lens end will increase). For this reason, we have also developed our lens hood, which is suitable for ultra-wide and wide-angle lenses (14–35 mm on full frame).
UV filter functions:
It is screwed to the front of the lens; it serves just like a standard UV filter. The UV filter absorbs ultraviolet radiation, which can cause foggy and blurry photos outdoors. The UV filter is multi-purpose and suitable for color and black and white photography. It also serves as permanent protection of the lens from water, grease and scratches.
The VFFOTO UV filters GOLDEN SERIES are equipped with 14 anti-reflective layers (7 on each side) and new 3 + 3 nanolayers with the most advanced functions: increased scratch, water and grease resistance and easier cleaning.
All filters in GOLDEN SERIES are made of high-quality Schott N-BK7 optical glass.
The UV filters of this series are specially designed for digital cameras but can also be used on classic film SLRs.
Why choose a reduction ring - UV GS step-up adapter for VFFOTO magnetic system 49-62 mm:
1. 3in1 adapter, UV filter and step-up ring for VFFOTO magnetic system,
2. 14 (7 + 7) high quality anti-reflective layers = minimizing unwanted reflections,
3. final surface treatment of the filter with nanolayers = resistance to water, scratches and dirt, easy cleaning; these coatings improve the mechanical and physical properties of the optical glass Schott B270,
4. original high-quality optical glass = not affecting sharpness, preserves finest details,
5. high light transmission of the glass reaching up to 99.8% = minimal loss of light,
6. special hydrophobic treatment means that the water droplets do not spill but form balls instead = the droplet slides on its own or it is possible to remove it with an air blower,
7. excellent price-quality ratio = satisfied and returning customers,
8. processed with precision = reliability,
9. possibility to replace the glass in case of damage,
10. 2-year warranty - output control is performed in the Czech Republic.
VFFOTO recommendations:
We recommend the VFFOTO GS series magnetic UV adapters for those looking for quality without compromise and, at the same time, easy and fast handling of filters.
It is also suitable for ultra-wide lenses with a thread diameter of 49 mm, such as Canon, Nikon, Carl-Zeiss, Leica, Hasselblad, Olympus, Pentax, Fuji, Sony, etc.
